COMMENTS: Found in the Sanctuary of Aphrodite Ourania at the north slope of the Acropolis of Athens. The Erotes hold prenuptial offerings: phiali, oinochoi, incense burner.
COMMENTS: Signed with a dedication to Jacques de Brunoff, who published the souvenir programm for the Diaghilev season at the Théâtre de Monte-Carlo, 1924. Gris also designed the cover of the program.
