COMMENTS: "Contes russes" (Russian tales), a suite of dances composed by four "choreographic miniatures", with an epilogue and an interlude, by the Ballets Russes in Paris. The dances were: Kikimora, Bova Korol
COMMENTS: These statuettes became famous by artists like Diego Rivera who bought them in the chalk quarry of Tlatilco (now a suburb of Mexico City) where workers found them by the hundreds.
